Sea Bass - Excellent eating fish and very expensive to buy fresh so if you are lucky enough to catch a Bass over the legal limit then a great way to eat it is by removing the guts, stuff with Garlic & herbs, Score the skin, and pour rock salt and olive oil over the fish and grill until done..

Crab, Lugworm, Mackerel, Sand eel, Squid, prawns & Spinning

Best Time to catch:

Low tide changing to incoming tide or at night.

Top tip:

Fish one of the storm beaches and cast into the white water with Sand eel or spinner. Be careful of the strong backwash when fishing in the surf. Fish from rocks at Watermouth on incoming tide with Sand eel on the bottom in sandy areas.
